4 Self-Inspection of Environmental Protection Facility Construction
4.1 Exhaust gas
( 1 ) Production process exhaust gas
This project’s salt residue primarily contains sodium chloride, moisture, dimethoate, sodium thiosulfate, and other components such as methanol, sodium sulfite, sodium bisulfite, and sodium sulfide. Methanol in the salt residue is readily soluble in water and highly susceptible to oxidation by hydrogen peroxide; therefore, most of the methanol entrained in the residue can be oxidized by hydrogen peroxide into carbon dioxide and water. During the oxidation process with hydrogen peroxide, the dimethoate present in the salt residue will produce… NH 3 Gaseous emissions. The waste gases generated in this project primarily originate from the production process and consist mainly of ammonia. NH 3 The production rate is 0.29kg/h , resulting in a concentration of 144mg/m3 . The enterprise has installed a reactor off-gas collection system to capture and centrally treat the project’s exhaust gases as much as possible, ensuring organized emissions. After collection, the project’s exhaust gases are routed to… 2# Insecticide waste gas treatment unit (primary water spray) + After treatment by first‑stage alkaline spray scrubbing, the effluent is discharged through a rooftop stack to an emission height of approximately… 15m。
( 2 ) Wastewater treatment and exhaust gas
The wastewater generated by this project primarily consists of process‑related effluent and rinse water from equipment and workshop cleaning. The wastewater will be treated at the plant’s existing treatment facility. During the treatment process, odorous pollutants such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia may be produced. Utilizing the enterprise’s existing exhaust‑gas collection system, the gases will be captured in a closed loop and subjected to primary alkaline scrubbing. + Photocatalysis + After treatment by the biological spray device, it is discharged from 25m Emission from the exhaust stack, with an air flow rate of 17000 m 3/h . The wastewater quality of this project is similar to that of the existing facility, with an additional volume compared to the existing facility of 12462t/a , the increase is 3.45% , the increase is very small; therefore, the concentrations of all gaseous pollutants generated by the wastewater treatment plant remain essentially unchanged. 。
The waste gas pollutant control measures for this project are shown in the table below.

4.2 Wastewater
The wastewater generated by this project primarily consists of condensate, filtrate, effluent from equipment and workshop cleaning, and periodic discharge from the circulating water station. It will be treated at the enterprise’s existing wastewater treatment facility. The main pollutants in the project’s wastewater are… Cash on Delivery 、 BOD , salt content, etc., In this project, the wastewater is first mixed with other high‑concentration effluents and conveyed to the plant’s central wastewater treatment station. After being blended with low‑concentration wastewater in a prescribed ratio, it enters the treatment process at the station. Once it meets the Class III standards of the Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard and the influent design criteria of the park’s wastewater treatment plant, it is discharged into the park’s sewage network, sent to the park’s treatment facility for centralized treatment, and, upon compliance with discharge standards, released into the Mi River.
