On the morning of February 28, 2025, the second-phase expansion project of Hunan Haohua Chemical Co., Ltd. was officially launched with a grand ceremony, attended by county Party Secretary Li Pengcheng, County People’s Congress Standing Committee Chairman Feng Jie, and other leading officials.
The second phase of the Haohua project, which has now commenced construction, boasts a total investment of RMB 220 million and encompasses the expansion of the 3,000-ton-per-year cartap production facility, along with safety and environmental upgrades to its equipment. The initial phase involves constructing an expanded 3,000-ton-per-year cartap production line on a 41-mu site, with a total floor area of 10,023 square meters, including a dedicated production workshop and ancillary facilities such as storage warehouses. Subsequently, the project will proceed with the relocation and upgrading of process equipment to enhance safety and environmental compliance, covering approximately 4 mu of land with a building footprint of 1,998 square meters, complemented by one solid-waste storage facility and one finished-product warehouse.
The project is scheduled to be completed and commissioned in December 2025. Upon reaching full production capacity, it is expected to generate an annual output value of RMB 700 million and contribute nearly RMB 40 million in annual tax revenue. This will deliver substantial economic and social benefits to the company while injecting fresh momentum into the development of the You County fine chemicals industry cluster.
