On the afternoon of July 21, 2019, accompanied by County Party Secretary Kang Yuelin and Deputy County Party Secretary and County Mayor Su Tao, Municipal Party Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress Mao Tengfei, together with Deputy Municipal Party Secretary and Mayor Yang Weiguo, led a delegation to the production base of Hunan Haohua Chemical Co., Ltd. in the Youxian High-tech Industrial Development Zone. There, they conducted an on-site “review-and-discussion” session—the second such event under the 2019 Campaign for Industrial Project Construction—inspecting the completion and trial operation of Phase I of Hunan Haohua Chemical’s comprehensive green relocation project.

Hunan Haohua Chemical is a major project involving the closure, relocation, and upgrading of enterprises in the Qingshuitang Old Industrial Zone. Invested and constructed by Hunan Haohua Chemical, the facility primarily produces cartap hydrochloride, monocrotophos, dimethoate, industrial phosphite, and other products. The project has a total investment of RMB 1.65 billion, covers approximately 500 mu of land, and will be developed in three phases.

At the Hunan Haohua Chemicals production base, Mao Tengfei and Yang Weiguo conducted a thorough review of the project’s construction progress, as well as its product R&D, manufacturing, and sales operations, and expressed full recognition of the achievements made by the Hunan Haohua Chemicals project. Mao Tengfei noted that Phase I of the Hunan Haohua Chemicals production base has progressed rapidly and that the trial production phase has yielded positive results. He urged all levels and departments to continue to provide close attention and support for the development of enterprises relocating from the Qingshuitang Old Industrial Zone, to prioritize environmental upgrades and market expansion, and to help these companies take root in Zhuzhou as they undergo transformation and upgrading.
