I. Project Overview
Project Name: Pilot-Scale Production Project for Sodium Methylate
Construction Site: Yuwang Road, High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, You County, Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province 1 Number.
Construction scope: This project is a renovation and expansion undertaking. The existing site area of the project is 182140m2 , the facility currently comprises production workshops, warehouses, a tank farm, a multi-purpose building, and a wastewater treatment station, along with corresponding utility and ancillary facilities, with a total floor area of approximately 50666m2 Currently, the project’s main products include cartap hydrochloride, cartap sulfate, phosphite, antifreeze, and sodium thiosulfate. The exhaust gases from all existing production lines are collected and treated by dedicated gas‑treatment facilities at each process stage, with emissions meeting regulatory standards before discharge. Process wastewater (including process effluent, floor and equipment‑washing wastewater, initial rainwater, and cooling‑tower blowdown) as well as domestic sewage are separately collected and treated at the plant’s on‑site wastewater treatment station to meet discharge standards, after which they are conveyed to the park‑level wastewater treatment plant for further advanced treatment. Hazardous waste is temporarily stored in a designated hazardous‑waste storage area and then handed over to qualified disposal contractors; general solid waste is temporarily stored in a general‑solid‑waste storage facility and subsequently disposed of by authorized entities; and municipal solid waste is temporarily stored at designated recycling points before being collected and processed by the sanitation authorities.
