The second-phase expansion project of Hunan Haohua Chemical has officially commenced.
On the morning of February 28, 2025, the second-phase expansion project of Hunan Haohua Chemical Co., Ltd. was officially launched with a grand ceremony, attended by county Party Secretary Li Pengcheng, County People’s Congress Standing Committee Chairman Feng Jie, and other leading officials. The newly commenced Phase II project has a total investment of RMB 220 million and includes an expansion of the 3,000-ton-per-year chlordane production capacity, along with safety and environmental upgrades to existing equipment. The initial phase involves constructing a new 3,000-ton-per-year chlordane production facility on a 41-mu site, with a total floor area of 10,023 square meters. This will include a dedicated chlordane production workshop as well as ancillary facilities such as warehouses. Subsequently, a follow-up project will be undertaken to relocate and upgrade the process equipment for product manufacturing, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. This additional phase will occupy approximately 4 mu of land, with a building area of 1,998 square meters, and will feature one solid-waste storage facility and one finished-product warehouse. The project is scheduled for completion and commissioning by December 2025. Once fully operational, it is expected to generate an annual output value of RMB 700 million and contribute nearly RMB 40 million in annual tax revenue. This initiative will deliver substantial economic and social benefits to the company while injecting fresh momentum into the development of You County’s fine chemical industry cluster.
